Hello, I’m Suzanne and I’m the Knowledge and Evidence Specialist–Lead for Black Country Healthcare.
I began my librarianship career in 2009, following a change of career. My library career has been entirely within the NHS, where I have worked as an Assistant Librarian, Training Librarian, Clinical Librarian, and now as a Knowledge and Evidence Specialist–Lead. I have experience of working in/for acute, community, and mental health/learning disability Trusts.
I have a wealth of experience in literature searching, supporting systematic reviews (where I have also been an author), supporting research teams, and delivering training (critical appraisal, reflective writing, searching the databases, health literacy, and writing for publication). Most recently, I have been involved with establishing the West Midlands Evidence Repository (WMER), and have newly taken over as Operational Group Lead.
