Ian Rennie
Knowledge, library, and Information Manager
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust
Ian Rennie has been working professionally in library services for twenty years, and in a library management role in the NHS for the last 13.
He has guided the library services of CPFT from a single librarian in a single room to a multi site multi staff service with an active web presence, and grown the library’s remit from merely books and journals to covering research support, critical appraisal, and organisation wide support for quality improvement and knowledge management.
Outside of his interests in knowledge, libraries, and information, Ian is one of the Cambridge organisers of National Novel Writing Month, an annual challenge to write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November.
