Dawn is currently on secondment from her substantive post as Knowledge and Library Service Lead at Bolton NHS FT. Previous to moving to the NHS she worked in academic libraries supporting healthcare student’s and academics for over twenty years. Dawn was part of a project team which won the LILAC Digital Literacy Award in 2018, achieved SFHEA within her university career in 2021 and was awarded CILIP Fellowship in 2023. Between 2022 and 2024 Dawn co-led a Health Partnerships Community of Practice and was the national lead for Health Information Week. She co-wrote a chapter on Health Partnerships with Emily Hurt in the newly published Introduction to Healthcare Knowledge and Library Services.
