HILJ

Dr Maria Grant is a trainer, researcher, author and editor specialising in writing for publication in the health library and information & health and social care sectors. Having previously worked in Schools of Nursing in the higher education for over 20 years, Maria recognised that not everyone finds writing for publication easy and she set out to find out why. Her thesis Constructing an Understanding of Professional Academic Writing: The SEPIA Model now informs her work supporting individuals and organisations planning research projects through to publication. She is Lead Editor of Research, Evaluation and Audit: Key Steps in Demonstrating Your Value (FACET Publishing) and is Editor-in-Chief of the Health Libraries Group’s ISI-listed Health Information and Libraries Journal.
