Alison Day (she, her, hers)
Alison Day has been leading, managing and delivering evidence and knowledge services within academia and the NHS for over 20 years. Now as a senior manager within the national NHS Knowledge and Library Services Team at NHS England, Alison provides professional advisory guidance and quality assurance of knowledge services to NHS organisations and implements the national strategy, Knowledge for Healthcare. Alison connects healthcare professionals with the skills and expertise of NHS knowledge specialists, ensuring that decisions within healthcare are underpinned by robust research evidence and that innovation is driven by the exchange of learning, knowledge and ‘know-how’. Alison holds a master’s degree in information and library studies and is a CILIP, library and information association, Chartered Fellow in Knowledge Management.
