A long-time member of HLG, Sue is honoured to be part of CILIP’s Presidential team.
Chairing the national health and digital literacy partnership, a cross sectoral alliance, Sue is committed to facilitating joint working to raise levels of health literacy.
As Visiting Professor in Knowledge and Information Mobilisation at Manchester Metropolitan University, and building on her experience as the former Chief Knowledge Officer for the NHS in England, Sue is exploring current thinking on knowledge mobilisation. She also serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Health Information and Libraries Journal.

An experienced coach, quality improvement facilitator and KM consultant, with extensive experience of leadership roles in primary care, Sue is a Complete Care Communities Programme mentor.
Future focused, Sue instigated the CILIP Technology Review, and was a member of the Topol Review Board. She is equally excited and thoughtful about the potential applications of AI and Machine Learning for knowledge and library services.
Sue also enjoys indulging her interest in art deco.
