Liz Wright
Outreach Librarian and knowledge Specialist
University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust
I started my career in libraries 10 years ago when I became a Library Assistant at University Hospitals Dorset. After starting I was lucky enough to be given a bursary to do my PG Dip in Information and Library Studies, which I did through Robert Gordon University. I am now an Outreach Librarian and Knowledge Specialist and spend my days carrying out literature searches, running journal clubs, teaching study skills and health literacy as well as setting up and running initiatives like the Living Library. I am also a Cultural and a Wellbeing Champion for the Trust, which I enjoy as I get to talk to lots of different people.
