Dr Elisavet Andrikopoulou is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Computing, University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom (UK). Elisavet holds a PhD in health informatics. She has won several awards including the HDR UK Collaborathon 2020. Elisavet has held a variety of positions in the fields of database administration, IT consulting, and health informatics in Greece, Germany, Belgium, and the UK. Her current areas of interest are biomedical knowledge sharing, supporting healthcare decision-making, and utilising personal health record-focused technology to enhance the quality of life for individuals with chronic illnesses. Elisavet is the events and communications lead of the health and care executive group of BCS and a member of IET and EFMI, and her teaching focuses mainly on data visualisation and data analytics.
