Call for Posters
Share your work and research at the HLG Conference 2024
Posters on all topics related to healthcare libraries are welcome, and we look forward to highlighting some of the key challenges and developments within the sector.
For example, your abstract could take inspiration from the 2024 conference theme: Connecting
How do we connect with users, policy and key issues of health and wellbeing? How can we maintain and develop connections across our profession and different sectors?

The HLG 2024 call for posters is open!
All shortlisted posters will be displayed digitally throughout the conference - meaning you do not need to worry about printing or transporting your poster.
Please see further guidance and criteria for submissions below.

TIMELINE:
23rd April 2024 - Deadline for Abstract Submission
Our panel will review all abstracts received by the submission deadline. Authors of accepted abstracts will receive an e-mail with further information.
6th May 2024 - Deadline for Poster Upload
Posters should be submitted as a single PowerPoint slide.
20th - 21st June 2024 - HLG Conference 2024
Plenty of networking opportunities to discuss your work with other delegates.
Posters will be displayed digitally throughout the event and there will be short poster presentations during lunch and breaks to answer questions and discuss your work.
All displayed posters will be a voted and the winners will be announced.
Please note: Companies are not eligible to enter the HLG poster competition.
Guidance on Submitting Abstracts for the HLG 2024 Conference

Posters
Please submit an abstract (up to 500 words) summarising your poster. You are also welcome to submit a prepared poster as an attachment if you have it.
All submitted abstracts/posters will be checked they meet the theme of the conference and will be entered into a competition to be voted on by conference delegates. The prize will be announced no later than June 2024.
Once your abstract is accepted, you will be notified by email. You will need to submit your poster as a single standard PowerPoint slide (ppt/pptx), preferably wide format (16:9).
Posters will be digitally displayed at the conference on large poster screens, so small text will be visible when displayed.
